Making Theatre Accessible for LGBTQIA+ Youth

Abstract

This article is focused on how to make theatre accessible to LGBTQIA+ youth. It is an acrostic poem of behaviours, and actions to take to create safe spaces for these youth and encourage them to come into the theatre. The intention of this article is to outline how to make theatre spaces accessible for LGBTQIA+ youth in meaningful and long-lasting ways.
