Young adults and vampire fiction

Abstract

Although vampire fiction has been around since the late 1800s, the release of Stephenie Meyer's vampire series, The Twilight Saga, has lead to a resurgence of vampire fiction in mainstream popularity over the last few years, especially among young adults.
