Abstract
Upcycling is the latest crafty buzzword, and it is directly related to the "greener living" phenomenon that is currently hip in our society. Upcycling is a noble initiative; it is the idea of repurposing would-be-trash items and materials into new items. These items, once reprocessed, can then eventually be used to create other "new" items, thus, eliminating trash altogether (TeenAngster, 2007).
