Introduction

Abstract

The articles and interests of our YA Hotline issue - Everybody Wants Something - focuse primarily on the ideas of inclusiveness and diversity – from LGBQT issues to Urban Fiction to youth subcultures and many things that existed on the fringes and in the margins.

Our title started out partially as a humourous nod to the late great Canadian television classic, Degrassi Junior High, but has since evolved into a slogan that is reflective of how we think Canadian libraries should be; all things to all people.
