Reviews of YA books and magazines. Books reviewed include Homo by Michael Harris, Perfect Youth by Sam Sutherland, Pop by Gordon Korman, and the magazine, Broken Pencil. All reviews are of Canadian works.

Author Biography

Mark Black, Dalhousie University

Mark Black (MLIS Candidate, 2014) has a BA in English from Dalhousie. He has worked for the Coast, Street Cents, and the Smithsonian Channel and has been a contributor to Skyscraper Magazine and Culture.ca. He has recently published his first book, NoMeansNo - Going Nowhere (Invisible Publishing). He serves as DJIM's Editorial Co-Chair and SIMSA's VP Non-Academic.
