Read-a-likes for Teens

Katrine Wilkinson

Abstract

Similar titles are often proposed based on a book's subject category, its style of writing, timeline or the author's tone. Libraries often provide read-a-likes or reading lists for patrons; they frequently start with the phrase "If you liked this book... then you might also like this suggestion". Read-a-likes provide patrons with ideas and suggestions for their next read that have similarities with another book.
