Abstract
Fairy tales are a common element in videos games with adaptations ranging from docile to macabre. This article reviews video games with fairy tale motifs suitable for teen audiences, showcasing games with a range of gaming styles and consoles.

Joelle Lafargue, Dalhousie University
Joelle Lafargue is a starry-eyed librarian in- training nearing the end of her student career and finally ready to become a full-fledged Librarian! She loves helping others finds the books they want to read, and reading fairy tales as much as she loves chocolate cheesecake (which is a lot!). Her favorite fairy tales are Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, and Rapunzel.
