Programs for teen social media management

Abstract

Teens are avid users of social media but may be described as poor social media managers. This article details two programs which attempt to find the balance between the opposing aspects of social media management, hiding material from the world but also putting the best face forward. The first program is designed for teens applying for jobs and universities to learn how to manage social media to their advantage. The second program employs the selfie phenomenon to promote teen digital media creation.
