Abstract

In this issue of the YA Hotline, we explore the world of fanfiction, starting with a basic overview of what fanfiction is. This issue also includes discussions surrounding the concerns and benefits associated with the genre, the ways in which fandoms can contribute to a vibrant programming environment, ways to incorporate fanfiction into library programming, and various forms of fanfiction, such as parodies, adaptations, and Twitter fiction.
