Author Biography

Siobhán McIlvanney

Siobhán McIlvanney is Senior Lecturer in French at King's College London. Her teaching and research interests lie principally in the areas of contemporary French women's writing and the early years of the French women's press. She has published extensively on a variety of contemporary French women writers, including a monograph on Annie Emaux, entitled Annie Ernaux, The Return to Origins (Liverpool: Liverpool University Press, 2001).
