Nancy Arenberg is an Associate Professor of French at the University of Arkansas. She specialises in seventeenth- and eighteenth-century epistolary literature and theory and has placed her articles in journals such as Dalhousie French Studies, Papers on French Seventeenth-Century Literature, Women in French Studies and The French Review. Her published work also includes numerous articles on Francophone women writers from North Africa, West Africa and Quebec. Currently, she is working on a book on the imitative versions of Heloise and Abelard's love correspondence.
