Husserl and the Feminist Critique of Science
Abstract
This paper considers Husserl's critique of science and compares his critique to those offered by contemporary feminist philosophers of science. Both Husserl, and these later philosophers attempt to re-evaluate the importance of subjective experience in understandng how to evaluate and establish objective knowledge. At the same time, feminist critiques put into question what kind of subject Husserl is interested in re-establishing.Downloads
