Checkliste für Beitragseinreichungen

Als Teil des Einreichungsverfahren werden die Autor/innen gebeten, anhand der Checkliste für Beiträge die Übereinstimmung ihres Beitrags Punkt für Punkt mit den angegebenen Vorgaben abzugleichen. Beiträge können an Autor/innen, die die Richtlinien nicht befolgen, zurückgegeben werden.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single spaced in a 12-point font, use italics (except in hyperlinks), and place figures and tables at their place in the text, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Richtlinien für Autor/innen

Research and policy articles submitted to Allons-y should be between 2000 and 5000 words excluding the reference list, while commetnaries should be between 2000 and 3000 words excluding the reference list. They should include a title, abstract, author names, emails, affiliations, ORCID iD (if applicable), short bios, and keywords on a title page. They should include a policy implications section of c.500 words. If required, a note at the end of the article should state any funding for the article, and any conflicts of interest.

References should be made in the Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition author-date style with a bibiolgraphy. URLs to sources should be provided wherever possible, and journal article references should contain the DOI if applicable. Note: this is a change from previous editions of the journal so do not use past issues as a guide.

Articles should be submitted in a Microsoft Word (.docx) file format, single spaced in a 12-point font, use italics (except in hyperlinks), and place figures and tables at their place in the text, rather than at the end. Any figures taken from other sources should be referenced, and evidence of their permission for use (such as a Creative Commons license) should be included.

Authors should use Canadian English spellings.
