Focus and Scope

The Proceedings of the Atlantic Universities' Teaching Showcase represent work presented originally at the annual Atlantic Universities' Teaching Showcase conference, which happens annually in September/October.  All presenters at the conference are invited to contribute to the proceedings, subject to peer review.

Peer Review Process

All articles are subject to a blind peer-review by two reviewers, with final editorial decisions made by the editorial team representing the hosts of each year's annual Atlantic Universities' Teaching Showcase.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This Proceedings is made possible through the generous hosting provided by Dalhousie University Libraries, and through the management of Dalhousie's Centre for Learning and Teaching.  It is also made possible by through the peer-reviewed editing process coordinated by each member of the AAU who hosts the Atlantic Universities' Teaching Showcase in a given year.

Journal History

The Proceedings of the Atlantic Universities' Teaching Showcase have been published since 1996, originally in print and then distributed online as a PDF from 2005 to 2016.  In 2016, the proceedings moved to an OJS hosted open access journal format.  These peer-reviewed proceedings comprise papers delivered at the annual Atlantic Universities' Teaching Showcsae conference.  All presenters at the conference are invited to contribute to the proceedings, and those who submit are subjected to peer-review prior to their publication.
