About the Journal

The Dalhousie Journal of Interdisciplinary Management (DJIM) is a diamond open-access and peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal that publishes works submitted by graduate students at Dalhousie University. The purpose of the journal is to provide an accessible platform for early-career researchers and early-career professionals to share their works with the academic community.

Scope

The DJIM welcomes original scholarship from a variety of fields related to management including but not limited to:

  • Environmental studies, environmental management, marine management, and natural resource management
  • Library science, information science, archival science, and information management
  • Public administration, public policy, health administration, and international affairs
  • Business administration, marketing, accountancy, and finance
  • Leadership, entrepreneurship, management science, and strategic management
  • Land use planning, urban planning, spatial planning, and regional planning

Graduate students are encouraged to submit high quality research, reports, and projects written as part of their coursework or thesis.

You do not have to be a graduate student in the Faculty of Management to submit a manuscript. We invite submissions from graduate students enrolled in a program in the following academic units:
