PROPAGANDA was a powerful tool used by Nazi Germany to indoctrinate and control its citizenry prior to and during WWII. This paper examines how Nazi propaganda was effectively used, and the results it achieved, especially in regards to the German youth. It reveals how the harsh terms dictated by the Treaty of Versailles created an impoverished and disgruntled German nation vulnerable to the ideologies promoted by the mass propaganda. This paper concludes that Adolf Hitler‘s rise to power, as well as the commitment and loyalty shown to him from the German citizens, is a direct result of his effective use of propaganda.References
